COVID-19 pandemic leaves hotel companies' liquidity unchanged, study finds.
The study looked at how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the liquidity of hotel companies in Serbia. They focused on net working capital, which is a key indicator of liquidity. The researchers analyzed 100 hotel companies and found that their liquidity, measured by net working capital, stayed the same during the pandemic. This means that the companies neither increased nor decreased their liquidity levels. The study also found differences in liquidity levels between hotels of different sizes and legal forms.
