By analyzing carbon emissions data and using a system dynamics model, researchers predict that carbon emissions will peak in 2029 at around 4.95 billion tons. With adjustments to the power supply structure and the use of carbon capture technology, the industry can achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. Factors like GDP per capita and the share of thermal power play key roles in reducing carbon emissions. By implementing these changes, the power sector can contribute to China's "30–60 Dual Carbon" goals.
