The article explores using electric vehicles to reduce pollution from cars. It compares battery and hydrogen fuel cell cars to find the most environmentally friendly option. Battery electric cars are more common now due to advanced battery technology, but hydrogen cars could also be a good choice. Both types of cars produce nearly zero harmful emissions, but creating electricity (for batteries) and hydrogen leaves a carbon footprint. Many car companies worldwide are working on making hydrogen-powered cars with zero emissions. The study looked at Russian conditions and found pros and cons for both types of electric vehicles. There's a need to improve their eco-friendliness and address operational challenges.
