Transformational leadership key to success in Ugandan public universities.
The study looked at how different leadership styles affect how well public universities in Uganda work. They focused on three types of leadership: transformational, transactional, and laissez-faire. They surveyed 93 university managers from Busitema and Kyambogo Universities. Results showed that transformational and transactional leadership styles help make universities more effective, while laissez-faire leadership doesn't have much impact. This means that leaders should focus on using transformational and transactional styles to improve how well universities work.
