The article presents a new system using blockchain technology to securely manage population data. By leveraging blockchain's security features, the system ensures data is safe and easily auditable. The researchers designed and tested a decentralized application (dApp) prototype that stores encrypted data on a blockchain, making it accessible only to the data owner. Testing showed no major security issues, and cost analysis highlighted expenses related to smart contract deployment and data creation. Future plans include implementing permissionless blockchain and multi-accounts for further development.
