Sustainable Aviation Fuel, also known as SAF, is a type of biofuel that can be used as Jet Fuel. Currently, only a small percentage of flights use SAF made from renewable sources. This fuel can reduce carbon emissions by around 80%, which is important because the aviation industry contributes to global warming. Even though flying produces carbon dioxide, it only makes up a small portion of the world's total emissions. Using Sustainable Aviation Fuel could help reduce the environmental impact of air travel.
