The study looked at why small farmers in Imo State, Nigeria, ask for loans from a specific bank. They surveyed 90 farmers and found that factors like farm income, interest rates, household size, distance to the bank, labor costs, education level, and farming experience all affect how much credit farmers want. To help farmers make more money and improve their lives, it's important for them to have access to credit for farming.
