Farmers Embrace Biofuel Crops, Boosting Rural Economies and Sustainability
In a study about Kansas farmers and biofuel, researchers asked farmers if they would grow special crops for energy. They wanted to know if farmers would plant crops specifically for making energy from plant material. The survey revealed that how much money farmers could make and how long they would need to commit to growing the crops were the most important factors in deciding if they would grow these special energy crops.
