Enterprises need to create architecture to navigate complex business environments. Different frameworks exist to help with this task, each with strengths and weaknesses. A study compared various frameworks and found that a combination of TOGAF and ArchiMate was rated the best. The research also developed a model to assess the quality of these frameworks. Organizations should consider their specific needs when choosing an enterprise architecture framework.
