Historic railway bridge saved from collapse, extended lifespan by 100 years.
A railway bridge at Bromley-By-Bow was in bad shape due to corrosion and weak structure. To fix it, the bridge was strengthened by replacing parts, adding plates, and repainting. The work was done over weekends to minimize disruption. After the refurbishment, the bridge can now handle full loads and has been extended for another 100 years.
