Land border conflicts in northern Ethiopia were studied to see how land registration and certification affected them. Conflicts were more common near district centers and where property rights had been redistributed recently. Factors like proximity to markets, distance from district centers, quality of border demarcation, and involvement of local elders influenced conflict reduction.
