Part-time employment in Hungary increased significantly during the economic crisis, unlike in other European Union countries. This rise was not only due to temporary reasons but seems to be a lasting trend, especially in market services. Contrary to expectations, the number of part-time jobs did not decrease as the economy recovered, indicating a shift towards more part-time work in Hungary.
