Historic Maine Bridge Reborn: First Modern Concrete Arch in 50 Years!
A historic bridge in Norridgewock, Maine was in bad shape and needed to be fixed or torn down. The community wanted to keep the bridge, but it had to be safe and modern. After studying the options, it was decided to build a new bridge that looked like the old one but used new techniques. The new Norridgewock bridge is the first of its kind on the East Coast in 50 years.
