A study in India tested different ways to help potatoes grow better and improve the soil. They used a mix of natural (like farmyard manure and vermicompost) and chemical fertilizers. The best results came from using half chemical fertilizers and half natural ones before planting. This method led to bigger and more potatoes, as well as higher levels of nutrients in the soil. It also gave more profit to farmers compared to using only chemical fertilizers or no fertilizers at all. This shows that combining natural and chemical fertilizers can boost potato yield and soil health.
