The article discusses a theory of consciousness based on the brain's global theory. It argues that traditional computer or mechanical models of the brain and mind are not effective. Instead, the theory proposes the TNGS (Theory of Neuron Group Selection) which suggests that the variability and individuality of brains are essential for neural networks to function. The coordination and synchronization of these networks are achieved through reentrant interactions.
