Bankruptcy Courts Survey 2005 Reveals Alarming Trends in Insolvency Cases
The Bankruptcy Courts Survey 2005 aimed to gather information from six courts in England and Wales to understand bankruptcy processes better. Originally planned for three courts, the study expanded to include three more for more accurate results. The project received funding from the Insolvency Service and was conducted by the Centre for Insolvency Law and Policy at Kingston University. The survey results were used to analyze trends in bankruptcy cases and improve understanding of the concept of phoenixism in insolvency.
