A new type of bridge called variant tied arch bridges has been developed. These bridges have inclined suspenders and asymmetric arch axes, making them easy to build and visually appealing. The researchers analyzed and designed these bridges, and found that they are adaptable for a wide range of uses and offer good economic benefits. Real construction examples have shown the success of these variant tied arch bridges.
