An innovative corrosion-free bridge system has been developed using precast concrete truss girders and FRP tubes. The system reduces weight, increases durability, and can extend the lifespan of bridges to 100 years. Different types of FRP tubes and connections were tested, with the best performing ones used in building and testing 8m long girders. The new system showed excellent performance in strength, fatigue, and time-dependent effects.
