The goal of the study was to understand how companies in Romania create value for their shareholders and other stakeholders. The researchers analyzed 65 companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange Market to see what factors contribute to economic value added (EVA). They found that integrating performance into enterprise valuation is crucial for maximizing value. By properly applying a methodology that considers all relevant factors, companies can create value for everyone involved.
