Optimizing irrigation and nitrogen levels boosts wheat yield and farmer income.
The study looked at how different levels of water and nitrogen affected wheat yield. They tested five levels of irrigation and nitrogen on wheat plants. The results showed that the best yield was from plants given 470 mm of water and 120 kg of nitrogen. These plants had the most tillers, biggest grains, and highest grain yield. The combination of 470 mm of water and 120 kg of nitrogen gave the highest overall yield and income.
