New visibility standard for work zones enhances driver safety at night!
The study aimed to set a standard for how visible reflective traffic devices should be in work zones. They focused on common devices like drums and cones. The standard they came up with says these devices should be visible from at least 275 meters away at night when lit by car headlights. This standard should work well in most situations.
