The article explores how bending and twisting affect the strength of steel box girders. Tests were done on different types of box girders to compare their behavior with analytical predictions. A curve was created to help design box girders more efficiently, and simple rules were developed to apply the findings to curved girders. The study provides practical guidance for designing stronger box girders.
