The article "Divided we fall" discusses how changes in transportation infrastructure can negatively impact communities, causing social division and reduced quality of life. Research shows that people find the concept of community severance difficult to understand. While new infrastructure projects consider severance, little is done to address existing issues. The study aims to review the impact of severance, assess ways to reduce it, and find practical solutions.
