Farmyard manure boosts Indian mustard yield, revolutionizing farming practices.
Farmyard manure, nitrogen, and fertilizer source were studied to see their impact on the growth and yield of Indian mustard. Using up to 10 tonnes/ha of farmyard manure increased plant height and branches. Applying 75 kg/ha of nitrogen improved seed yield and weight. S-containing fertilizers also enhanced growth and yield compared to S-free ones. Overall, farmyard manure at 10 tonnes/ha and nitrogen at 75 kg/ha were found to be beneficial for improving the yield of Indian mustard.
