The report shows that six major development banks invested over $25 billion in projects to fight climate change in 2015. They focused on both reducing the impact of climate change and helping countries adapt to it. Since 2011, these banks have put over$131 billion towards climate action in developing countries. In 2015, they also attracted an additional $55 billion in outside funding for these projects. This means a total of$80 billion was spent on climate-related projects that year. This is the first time these banks have included this extra funding in their report.
