Paper Summary

A statewide Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) architecture was developed for South Dakota to meet federal requirements. Stakeholder workshops were held to gather input, resulting in a consensus-based ITS architecture. The architecture was documented using Turbo Architecture V2 and made available on a website for stakeholder review. An institutional and technical methodology for maintaining the ITS architecture was also included in the report.
