This paper explores how bones, which have both piezoelectric and thermal properties, convert energy efficiently. By using a theoretical model, the researchers found that the energy conversion efficiency factor decreases over time. This means that as energy is converted, the efficiency of the process decreases gradually. By analyzing numerical values of piezoelectric constants, the researchers were able to evaluate the efficiency factor.
