This report gives guidelines for removing pollutants from highway stormwater runoff. Three types of measures are effective: vegetative controls, detention basins, and retention measures. The guidelines are based on the team's experience and a review of existing literature. Field and lab studies are ongoing to confirm the design procedures and assumptions.
