The article discusses the importance of improving legal and administrative services in environmental management. It suggests ways to optimize public administration and enhance the efficiency of executive bodies involved in environmental management. The focus is on providing better administrative services for using, protecting, and restoring natural resources sustainably. The researchers have established criteria and principles for legal consolidation to achieve ecological goals in Ukraine. The key idea is to upgrade environmental management by reducing time, cost, and organizational transactions in providing administrative services. The structure of legislation outlining the legal framework for implementing administrative services in the environmental sector has been defined.
