The European Parliament has a chance to update the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) to better meet modern needs. The CAP currently uses a lot of the EU budget but doesn't always distribute payments fairly. The EP can lead the way in making the CAP more effective and fair for everyone. If they don't act, it could harm agriculture and make people doubt the CAP even more.
