Spatial interpolation methods were compared for accuracy in predicting temperature across the United States. Ordinary Kriging was found to be the most accurate method, especially when combined with elevation optimization. This improved accuracy was demonstrated through two-dimensional visualizations of temperature and temperature differences in the US.
