Project risk management and post project evaluation processes are crucial for the success of research and development projects. By identifying, analyzing, and responding to risks, project teams can improve project outcomes. Post project evaluations help identify what worked well and what didn't, leading to better practices for future projects. A study of 93 R&D projects in Turkey identified factors affecting project performance and created a risk checklist for managing risks. The research proposed a risk management process and post project evaluation process to enhance organizational learning. While quantitative risk analysis techniques were not used, a mathematical model for total project cost was developed and simulated using a commercial risk analysis software.
