U.S. Renewable Energy Policy Lacks Cohesion, Favors Fossil Fuels and Nuclear
The United States has a renewable energy policy that many people overlook. Even though the country typically supports fossil fuels and nuclear power, it does have laws and regulations supporting renewable energy, such as tax credits, utility regulations, and fuel standards. These policies may be somewhat uncertain, cyclical, and not always a top priority compared to other energy sources, but they still play a crucial role in promoting renewable energy in the U.S.
