Optimized rice straw process boosts xylose production by 32.43%!
Researchers optimized the production of xylose from rice straw using Response Surface Methodology. They tested different temperatures, agitation rates, and xylanase concentrations during the process. After optimization, they achieved a 32.43% increase in xylose production, reaching a concentration of 0.2716 mg/ml. This method could help convert agricultural waste into valuable resources more efficiently.
