Happiness and life satisfaction are different aspects of quality of life. A study in Turkey found that higher income and having a job make people happier. Men and married individuals tend to be happier than single and female individuals. Surprisingly, less educated people are happier than those with university degrees. The study also suggests that there isn't a big difference in happiness determinants between developing and developed countries.
