New hydroelectric power plant in Idaho to generate clean energy.
A hydroelectric power plant could be built on the Mora Canal Drop in Idaho, generating over 8 million kWh of electricity per year. It would cost around $1.8 million to set up and produce power at a cost of 20.3-22.2 mills/kWh. A local utility is willing to buy all the power at 26 mills/kWh. The project is expected to have no negative impacts on the environment, safety, or local economy.
