The article discusses the development of an intelligent interface for computer workstations, specifically for use on Space Station Freedom. The initial prototype focuses on text processing software, with plans to expand to other applications like database management. The intelligent interface includes the operator's behavior and provides instructions to the underlying software based on predefined rules. This design is intended for use in various organizations with ground-based workstations.
