Establishing vegetation for erosion control on unpaved areas within highway rights-of-way is crucial. Using ecologically adapted plant species and proper soil tillage leads to better growth. Planting crops and seeding at the same time is beneficial. Fertilizer application is helpful, and high rates are not harmful. Mulching, especially with hay, is essential for optimal growth. The study includes tables, charts, graphs, and a literature review to support these findings.
