The study evaluated different soil conservation practices on a tea plantation in Taiwan to control soil erosion. The researchers found that using bench terraces with vegetative cover and straw mulch was the most effective method. They also confirmed that the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation accurately predicted soil erosion on the tea plantation.
