New Study Reveals Winter Rape Plants Produce High Oil Content Flowers
The study looked at how winter rape plants flower and produce pods. They found that each plant had around 1,400 to 1,500 flowers and took about 30 days to finish flowering. Each plant had 560 to 630 pods, with 18 to 20 branches. It took five days for pods to form. Flowering was faster at the top and bottom branches, and the seeds had more oil in those parts.
