The research looks at how land is shared in East Nusa Tenggara and Maluku, Indonesia. By talking to many people and surveying others, the researchers found that there are more land arguments now. They also saw that when land is owned by a group, it often isn't used well. The researchers suggest that making changes to how land is used and who can use it could help make more money. They think that giving clans official ownership of land and clear rights to use it could be a good idea.
