Construction projects require accurate cost estimation before they begin. In Korea, there is a lack of standardized methods for estimating and managing costs. To improve this, the researchers suggest establishing a standard database methodology, using a multi-level database model called CUBE, and implementing a standard cost planning process. It is important to choose the right cost estimation method based on the project's goals and to involve more experts in the process.
