The article examines how the operation of the Garolim Tidal Power Plant affects the tidal regime in the Yellow and East China Seas. A numerical model was created to study changes in tidal elevation, tidal current, and tidal flat area inside the Garolim bay. Field measurements were conducted to validate the model and understand the current system. The research aimed to predict how the tidal regime would change due to the power plant's operation.
