Small hydropower is a type of renewable energy that South Korea wants to develop because the country has a lot of resources for it. To better use these resources, researchers calculated how much electricity small hydropower plants can generate in 840 areas by looking at things like rainfall and basin size. They also made a special map system to show where small hydropower can be used and what equipment is needed. This new system can help people use small hydropower all over the country.
