New wheat intercropping method boosts yield and protein content significantly!
The researchers studied how two types of wheat grow when planted together in a field. They found that planting the wheat in a specific pattern and at a certain density can affect how much grain is produced. The best results came from planting a mix of the two wheat types in equal amounts, with a high density of seeds. This method produced the highest grain yield and protein content. Intercropping the wheat types together also showed advantages over planting them separately.
