The Alice Springs-Darwin Railway project involved building 93 bridges over 1420 kilometers in remote areas with limited resources. To overcome this challenge, the focus was on using prefabricated steel and precast concrete components to make construction more efficient and cost-effective. The result was a successful and economical portfolio of bridges for the railway.
