The article discusses using advanced sensors to improve building information modeling (BIM) for construction, operation, and maintenance. The goal is to enhance collaboration and communication among stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. By creating an as-built BIM based on sensor data, BIM can be more effectively utilized in all project phases. The research highlights the need for further exploration in this area to benefit the domestic AEC industry.
