Boost Rice and Wheat Yields with Barnyard Manure, Study Finds
Different fertilizer treatments were tested on rice-wheat crops to see how they affected yield and quality. Using chemical fertilizer alone resulted in the lowest yields, while combining it with barnyard manure gave the highest yields. Applying manure or straw to the fields helped crops grow better and increased nutrient content in the plants. Overall, combining chemical fertilizer with organic materials like manure or straw improved the productivity and quality of rice and wheat crops.
