The Redbournberry Bridge near Singleton, NSW, was designed with a dual composite structure to address the inefficiency of hogging sections in traditional composite bridges. By adding a second composite slab at the bottom flange level, the bridge offers improved performance and durability. The new design also incorporates innovative features for the main river spans while preserving the historic iron truss bridge.
