A study looked at different ways to grow sugarcane and mustard together to increase crop yield. They tested different levels of nitrogen and sulfur in the soil to see how it affected the plants. Adding mustard to sugarcane fields increased the overall yield. More nitrogen and sulfur in the soil also increased the amount of sugarcane produced. However, the quality of the sugarcane juice was not affected by these nutrients. Overall, adding more nitrogen and sulfur to the soil improved the productivity of the crops grown together.
